Trivia:

Was one of the most popular Macedonian singers.

Was very popular in Croatia. He held his first solo concert in Croatia in Rijeka, where he also sang at the New Year concert in 2007.

In 2004. he was named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and recorded the song "This World" which became the UNICEF anthem.

Represented Macedonia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004. in Istanbul.

He was awarded with the Mother Theresa Humanitarian Award.

To improve his singing he took classes in New York from maestro William Riley, who was also coach to famous maestro Luciano Pavarotti.

Collaborated with artists including Anja Rupel, Antonija Sola, Boa Djodjevic, Esmaedzepova, Gianna Nannini, Goca Trzan, Gego Koprov, the Turkish percussion group Harem, 'Jeff Beck', 'Leontina Vukomanovic', Miro Buljan, Phoebus, Toni Cetinski, Zeljko Joksimovic and other notable musicians.

After his death, the government of the Republic of Macedonia, gave him the title "Honorable citizen of Macedonia".

Was called "Elvis Presley of the Balkans" by the BBC.
